Debate 11/11/2024-11/17/2024

Hello!

* Congratulations to Taite, Jahaira, and Dawn who competed at the online Damus Invitational this past weekend... the placed 2nd on a brutal 1-2 decision!  In addition, Taite brought home the Top Speaker award, beating her buddy from Team USA, Chuka.

* B'ham Online

1. This is our first online tournament!  It's great experience.

2.  On Friday, please plan on competing from your home.  When you get on tabroom, you will see a button to push to enter your competition room.  It's easy!  If you need help, email me or Taite right away!

3. On Saturday, you can choose: compete from home OR compete from the school. Just let me know by Friday afternoon.

4. On Saturday, we will get some pizza from Costco in the afternoon.  Please feel free to bring additional snacks.

5. Parents, I need 2 more judges-- and this is a great to learn!  If you are interested, send me an email.

* Our Debates-giving (and annual Sparfest with lovely turkey trophy!) will be on Tuesday, 11/26.  Please bring your favorite treat to share.  

* TEAM SWEATSHIRTS

We will soon be starting team sweatshirt sales.  So you can be ready, please know that the tees will be about $20 and the sweatshirts will be about $30.
